Transitional Services

  • The school helps develop transitional skills for students who are interested in going to college and for those going directly into the workforce. Students work with the guidance counselor and their advisors to explore post graduation options and to identify possible future career paths. Students complete interest inventories, and attend job and college tours in order to pursue their post graduate interests. Students receive assistance looking for employment and applying to college.

As a student continues to refine their pathway, students  are able to pursue a number of possibilities including but not limited to:

Dual Enrollment - Concurrent enrollment in college courses at Middlesex Community College and high school courses at Valley Collaborative.

Vocational Shops - Placement in our vocational shops: Graphic Communications, Culinary, Landscaping/Home Repair, and Human Services.

Internships -  Placement at a desired vocation in a students senior year
