Seniors have the opportunity to gain real world experiences through on the job training. Internships are designed to build collaboration among educators, businesses and the community to help students attain the knowledge and experience necessary for employment.
The Internship program was established to present students with independent community-based vocational experiences utilizing built-in natural supports. Through on the job training, students develop specialized trade skills and independent life management skills.
Combining academics with experience in today’s workplace brings a new relevance to learning by allowing students to better understand the connection between educational choices and future career opportunities.
