Fiscal year 2025 has been extremely busy in the business office as the Collaborative has gone through a total of six very successful audits, conducted by two state agencies, one state commission, and an independent financial audit. Below is the summary of results from this body of work.

Valley Collaborative continues to excel through multiple successful audits and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Expanded professional learning opportunities for staff support student success and reflect Valley’s mission of empowering individuals to thrive.

Valley Collaborative Adult Program continues to grow while maintaining high-quality services, recently reaching over 130 participants. A recent state review scored the program 100% in both Certification and Licensure, reflecting its commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Every Monday, Valley students produce a school-wide news show featuring interviews, updates, and original reporting, guided by teacher Vlad Stoicescu. The broadcast builds confidence, creativity, and community—bringing a childhood dream to life for student host Madison Murray.

Transitional High School students are diving into hands-on STEAM projects, from egg drops and paper airplanes to tool selection and butterfly metamorphosis. These engaging activities foster scientific thinking, creativity, and real-world skills while promoting environmental awareness through Earth Day initiatives.

Valley Elementary celebrated Read Across America with guest readers and fun activities. Students hiked Mt. Wachusett thanks to a MOOR Grant. Now, they're enjoying sunny recess and looking forward to spring fun!

Every year during the Holiday Season, the individuals served by Valley Collaborative’s Today and Tomorrow Program (Adult Services) have the opportunity to give back to the community that is so supportive to them.

Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, squash soup, and pumpkin pie were just a few of the dishes being served up for the Transitional High School’s School and Life Skills classroom’s ‘Friendsgiving Feast.’ Students planned their meal from start to finish with culinary arts teacher Bridget Zanni.

Students enrolled in Valley Middle School’s transitional programs had a fantastic November, enjoying field trips to the Topsfield Fair, Connor Farm, TD Garden, and the Enchanted Village.

The Transitional High School Alternative Programs have three cohorts of students, all of which enjoyed a very successful year. Here’s a look at 2024, by the numbers.

The Elementary School had a fall filled with activities and opportunities for students to learn and explore the world. We’re looking forward to an exciting and enriching 2025!

Our year-end board meeting was a celebration of dedication and excellence, recognizing the outstanding achievements of both staff and students. This special event provided a moment to reflect on the successes of the year and applaud those whose efforts have gone above and beyond.
